the Sahyadri hills, cut into the curved mountain side, above the Waghora river,
are the awesome Ajanta group of caves, captivating tourists from all over.
It was only in the 19th century, when a group of British officers on a tiger
hunt discovered this artistry of yore. The caves at Ajanta depict the story
of Buddhism, spanning the period from 200 BC to 650 AD. Overnight at Aurangabad

After breakfast at hotel visit Ellora Caves. 34 in number, are carved into
the sides of a basaltic hill, 30 kms from Aurangabad. The finest specimens
of cave - temple architecture, they house elaborate facades and exquisitely
adorned interiors. These structures representing the three faiths of Hinduism,
Buddhism and Jainism, were carved during the 350 AD to 700 AD period.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to

After breakfast, mount saddled camels for a short camel safari through village
of Samode and into the picturesque countryside which consists of alternating
sand-dunes, farm land and low lying hills. Pass through and stop to visit
typical Rajasthani villages called "Dhanis" and get to meet and
interact with local farmers and village folk. Hot picnic lunch will be served
in a lavish style under the shade of trees, complete with carpets and rugs.

of being built around a huge golden figure of Buddha 40 ft. high. The upper
Chapel is a balcony around the head of Buddha, while the lower chapel has
an extensive library and some Tankhas.
Thiksey’s Gompa looks like a miniature of the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Hemis is the most famous of all monasteries in Ladakh and contains some of
the region’s finest art treasures. Overnight at Leh.
Day 04 : Leh
This morning after breakfast visit Shankar Gompa, Namgyal; Tsemo & Leh
Palace. In the Afternoon visit Spituk a 1000 year old monastery and Stok Palace
the residence of the queen of Ladakh, built in the early 19th century. Overnight
at Leh.
Day 05 : Leh - Delhi
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to airport for your flight
to Delhi. On arrival straight transfer to International Airport, depart on
