Highlights of the tour : The twelve ancient pilgrimage centers reference
of which is found in the Shiv Purana. They are called Jyotirlingas because Lord
Shiva is said to have revealed himself to his devotees in the form of Jyoti
i.e. light. Even today devotees are said to have got his darshan in the form
of jyoti at these places. This tour allow to visit some of the twelve jyotirlings
and extended to the main tourist circuit of India i.e. GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred
to hotel where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi
In the morning take a city tour covering Laxmi Narayan Temple - The Place of
Gods, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House - The Government
headquarters. In the afternoon take a city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid
- The largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort - The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial
- The memoir of father of the nation. Also enjoy the sound & light show
in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi - Varanasi (By Morning flight)
In the morning transfer to airport to catch flight to Varanasi - The mind soothing
destination, on arrival transfer to hotel. In the afternoon take an excursion
to Buddhist town of Sarnath - The hallowed spot where Lord Buddha preached his
first sermon after enlightenment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 - Varanasi- Khajuraho
At dawn boat ride at River Ganges, followed by a city tour covering Alamgir
Mosque or Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Dasaswamedha Ghat, Benares Hindu University
& The Bharat Mata Temple. After that you will be transferred to Airport
to catch flight to Khajuraho . On arrival transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon a city tour covering Western / Eastern group of Temples - The
Temples at Khajuraho are a unique gift to the world. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 - Khajuraho - Orchha - Gwalior (By Road approximate 08 hrs)
Today morning you leave Khajuraho for Orchha - Medieval legacy in stone. Get
off to visit Jehangir Mahal - The strong lined Palace counter balanced by delicate
chhatris and trellis work , Raj Mahal - The plain exteriors give way to interiors
with exquisite murals Ram Raja Temple - one of the most exquisite in India,
Chaturbhuj Temple - Built upon a massive stone platform, later in the day drive
to Gwalior. On arrival check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - Gwalior
Today you will visit the magnificent Gwalior Fort - This Fort complex houses
a marvellous Palace, Man Mandir Palace, Sas Bahu Ka Mandir, Suraj Kund etc,
the tombs of Tansen and Ghias Mohammed, the Museum in Jai Vilas Palace - Better
known as the Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum which is the main attraction of the gigantic
Palace and the newly built Sun temple - Located on the outskirts and dedicated
to Sun God.
Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07 - Gwalior - Ujjain (By Road approximate 07 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Ujjain- enjoyed a position of considerable importance
in the field of astronomy, Great works on astronomy such as the Surya Siddhanta
and the Panch Siddhanta were written in Ujjain.
On arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure / shopping. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 08 - Ujjain - Indore (By Road approximate 04 hrs)
Today at morning hours enjoy sightseeing trip of renowned pilgrim centre. Visit
Mahakaleshwar Temple -The temple enshrines one of the 12 Jyotirlingams, Bada
Ganeshji Ka Mandir - The largest ornate statue of Ganesha makes this temple
a popular picnic spot, Kaliadeh Palace - The sacred river Shipra runs through
this city of temples.
Afternoon drive to Indore. On arrival check-in at hotel . Evening enjoy the
visit of market on your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 - Indore (Omkareshwar & Maheshwar)
Breakfast at hotel and full day excursion to Omkareshwar & Maheshwar
Omkareshwar- the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu
symbols, 'Om', has drawn to it hundreds of generations of pilgrims. Here, at
the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri, the devout gather to kneel
before the Jyotirlinga (one of the twelve throughout India) at the temple of
Shri Omkar Mandhata. And here, as in so many of Madhya Pradesh's sacred shrines,
the works of Nature complement those of man to provide a setting awe-inspiring
in its magnificence
Maheshwar -was a glorious city at the dawn of Indian civilization when
it was Mahishmati, capital of king Kartivarjun. This temple town on the banks
of the river Narmada finds mention in the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Revived to its ancient position of importance by the Holkar queen Rani Ahilyabai
of Indore. Maheshwar's temples and mighty fort-complex stand in quiet beauty,
mirrored in the river below.
Today, Maheshwar is also known for its distinctive handwoven sarees called Maheshwari.

Day 10 - Indore - Bhopal (By Road approximately 05 hrs)
After breakfast you leave for Bhopal. Evening arrive Bhopal and check-in at
hotel.
Bhopal- the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is a fascinating amalgam of scenic beauty,
old historic city and modern urban planning. It is the 11th century city Bhojpal,
founded by Raja Bhoj, but the present city was established by an Afghan soldier,
Dost Mohammed (1707-1740). His descendants build Bhopal into a beautiful city.
You enjoy a free evening to shop and relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 - Bhopal - Sanchi - Bhopal
After breakfast you leave for Sanchi - The ancient seat of Buddhist learning.
The places worth visiting are Archaeological Museum - The most interesting pieces
are the lion capital from the Ashoka pillar, a yakshi hanging from a mango tree
and a beautiful Buddha figure in red sandstone. Great Stupa - This is the finest
work of art at Sanchi and amongst the finest examples of Buddhist art in India.
You return to Bhopal and spend time in this fascinating city. Visit Taj-ul-Masjid
- It is one of the largest mosques in India. Laxmi Narayan Temple & Birla
Museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Bhopal- Agra (By Train)
Today after breakfast free at leisure. Later in the afternoon transfer to Railway
Station to board you train for Agra. On arrival meet with our representative
and transfer to hotel. Overnight.
Day 13 - Agra- Fatehpur Sikri- Jaipur (By Road approximate 06 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel and visit Taj Mahal - a poem written in white marble, the
most extravagant monument ever built for love, followed by Red Fort - a visit
to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events which lead to the
construction of the Taj took place here, Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb - The tomb is
of particular interest since many of its design Elephants overshadow the Taj.
Afternoon drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town
of Mughal Dynasty) - Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal
Bhawan & Panch Mahal.
On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 - Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer Fort with joy ride on an Elephant - The Fort is a
superb example of Rajput architecture, Afternoon city tour covering City Palace
- occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings
and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory
- An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli
- The haveli which shows the rare beauty of Rajasthani architecture, Bazaar
etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 - Jaipur - Delhi - Home
Breakfast at hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival straight transfer to
airport for your flight to home.
